My Marriage

One of the best experiences in my life - my marriage
I'm not talking about the nervousness or the excitement, but the speed in which the total process happened. We met through an official blind date fixed by our parents and we immediately liked each other but here's the best part - our marriage date got fixed and it was in a month.

In a month - c'mon I had so many plans - not possible in a month. I couldn't do my own shopping as I had planned. I couldn't have a special shower as I had planned. I couldn't have 6 months of shopping spree for clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry etc as planned. All I could do was to reach my house 3 days before the wedding.

Then I realized, our parents had much more trouble getting the whole wedding planned and setup in just one month. They had shed a lot of blood and sweat in that month to get everything straightened up and I was just thinking of superficial stuff - hats off to them and thanks a lot for making this event so special for us.

Finally D-Day arrived !!

Mom's calling for dinner, no time for that currently !!
"Prepare for your presentation dumbo" - I told myself

As I continued fussing about my presentation and messing up my room, I suddenly realized that I had not yet ironed my dress, not yet packed my bag. Neither had I cared to straighten up my room nor did I care for dinner. I was extremely tensed up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was the scene at my house, rather my room on the 16th of May.

Reason?????????? Final Semester Presentation
And to add to my already existing heap of tensions was the serial list of our names in which, I don't know why, my group's name had vanished.

Even on 17th, our presentation got delayed due to some unavoidable circumstances. Finally, me and my group were inside the lab, waiting for our litmus test before the external.

What's this ?? External saw just 5 slides out of 30 !!
Now, it was even more nerve wreckening !!

Spoke with others, consulted some teachers, all of them confirmed that everything would be OK, as the same pattern was being followed in case of others too.

OOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tension Over !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the time being obviously. I know that I will be tensed again when the marks are to be out, yet again when TCS sends some letters, and yet again and again and again.

I just hope that all my friends and batchmates come out with flying colours at the end of MCA completion and that we continue our trend of tension & relief in future too.

Daily Routine at BIT

My mom is finally happy that I have to get up at 5:30 in the morning daily in order to go to BIT for my project. I used to get irritated in the beginning but now even I have got used to it.

Till now, we were only going through the training process but slowly and steadily we are starting the development process too.

In between we had to go to the DEO(District Education Office) to provide their employees with basic computer training. Oh God!! This time I was in the teacher's chair with all those doubts being fired at me and with all sort of curious and queer faces staring at me, trying to get hold of what I am saying. I have myself been a "Miss DoubtFire" during my classes but never in my wierdest dream had I ever thought that I would go through the same experience one day.

Well, the training programme was a success and finally we were back to our normal routine.
